Our 50 Year Journey
Our owner, Livia, has decades of experience in the lighting industry. She co-owned a glass lighting factory in Taiwan with her brother before immigrating to the U.S. in the 1980s with their young family. In 1997, she purchased Lexington Lighting from the previous owner.
Through years of relentless hard work, that small shop grew into the 12,000-square-foot showroom you see today. But despite our growth, we’ve stayed committed to the “neighborhood feel” that Livia established on day one. Part of that commitment is we take a very practical hands-on approach, going the extra mile to make sure every piece is exactly right for your home – whether that means customizing a lamp shade, finding a specific finish, or putting different parts together to solve a creative design challenge.
It is this dedication that has created a bond with our community that spans generations. Many of our customers have been coming back to see Livia for decades, because they know they’ll receive honest advice and a personal touch they simply can’t find anywhere else.
